The coccinea parent used was a micro-mini version from Japan. We have bloomed several of these and they are ALL wonderfully tiny and just stunning.
Flowers are huge compared to the plants and bright, flat, and super red.
Not an easy growing plant, recommended for those with experience growing Sophronitis species. Plants need to be kept a little damp, grown in high humidity, bright light and cool to intermediate temperatures. They also appreciate high quality water such as rain, reverse osmosis or distilled.
